Happy Veterans Day!
November 11 is a special day dedicated to honoring and celebrating the service of those currently in or who have served in the U.S. military. When the day comes close I list some of the best Veterans Day Freebies, so you don’t need to go looking around the inerwebs trying to find it. Numerous restaurants, retail stores, and other businesses are participating by providing a variety of complimentary offers and discounts for veterans, military personnel, and their families.
It’s essential to present a military ID or proof of service to avail of these offers. Additionally, it’s recommended to check with your local establishment to confirm their participation.
Here are the freebies for Veterans Day in 2015
Applebee’s
On Veterans Day, Applebee’s is offering a complimentary meal to veterans and active military personnel from a special menu featuring entrees such as chicken penne, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, salad, and more.
This offer is available from opening to closing on November 11, 2015, at participating Applebee’s locations only. Dine-in from the limited menu only. Beverages and gratuity are not included. Veterans and active-duty military simply need to show proof of military service.
Luna Rossa Biagio Lamberti
On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2015, Luna Rossa Biagio Lamberti is treating all military veterans to a choice of soup of the day or a house salad, a complimentary entrée (choice of 6 dishes), and dessert! Entrée selections include delicious options such as Penne Amatriciana with tomatoes, onions, pancetta, and basil, and Modo Nostro with rock shrimp sautéed in garlic, tomato basil sauce, and capellini, among others!

This Veterans Day, Denny’s is offering all active and non-active military personnel with a valid military ID a free build-your-own Grand Slam from 5:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at participating locations nationwide.
Golden Corral
On Monday, November 11, Golden Corral is providing a complimentary “thank you” meal to all those who currently serve or have served in the military. The 2015 Military Appreciation Night will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse is expressing their gratitude with a free lunch from their special Veterans menu on Wednesday, November 11. This offer is available to active, former, or retired military only. Please show your server proof of military service. Dine-in only.
Bar Louie
Bar Louie is providing a free appetizer or entree to veterans and active military on Tuesday, November 10, and Wednesday, November 11. This offer is valued up to $12 with proof of service.
Arooga’s

LongHorn Steakhouse is treating those who show proof of military service to a free Texas Tonion appetizer and a non-alcoholic beverage on Veterans Day.

Red Lobster From Monday, November 9, through Thursday, November 12, Red Lobster is expressing gratitude to active-duty military, reserve, and military veterans for their service by offering a complimentary appetizer or dessert from a special menu without requiring a purchase. Guests only need to present a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer.
TGI Fridays
TGI Fridays On Veterans Day, TGI Fridays is honoring veterans and active-duty military across the United States with free lunch at participating locations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans and active military can choose from a list of Fridays lunch menu items, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads from a special menu. Beverages and add-ons are not included in this Free Lunch offer. All veterans and active military personnel must show a valid military I.D.
Bob Evans
Bob Evans This year, Bob Evans is honoring veterans with a choice of select free breakfast items on November 11, 2015, at all Bob Evans restaurants. Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse Veterans and active-duty military can eat for free on November 11 from a special menu. Entree choices include Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Duchess Cut Prime Rib, Classic Dill Salmon, Mrs. Brown’s Meatloaf, Classic Cheeseburger, or Pot Roast.
